16. Masters’ Yoga Sadhan

I absolutely loved my experience at Masters’ Yoga Sadhan! They offer a real focus on traditional yoga, which is exactly what I was looking for. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and the classes are kept small, so you get lots of personalized attention. The studio provides a range of yoga styles, including Hatha, Ashtanga, and Iyengar, with an emphasis on correct alignment and breathing techniques.

I tried both a normal yoga class and a hot yoga class. Let me tell you, that hot yoga was an experience. I was sweating so profusely I could barely open my eyes, but in the best way possible. It felt like an amazing detox and I left feeling totally invigorated.

Now, the hot yoga wasn’t for the faint of heart! During some of the deeper stretches, I’ll admit, I was crying in pain. But the instructor at Masters’ Yoga Sadhan was fantastic. They were kind enough to assist with some of the stretches. Let’s just say they helped me achieve some poses I never thought possible!

Overall, Masters’ Yoga Sadhan is a fantastic studio for anyone looking for a supportive and enriching yoga experience. They cater to all levels, and even if you’re pushing yourself to the limit (like I did in hot yoga!), the instructors are there to guide and support you.

Benefits of Practising Yoga

Yoga offers more than just fancy poses and trendy leggings. It’s a holistic practice that combines physical movement, mindful breathing, and meditation, providing benefits that extend far beyond the yoga mat. Here are some reasons why people are drawn to this ancient practice:

Improved Flexibility:

One of the most well-known benefits of yoga is that it can improve your flexibility. Yoga poses stretch and lengthen your muscles, which can help you move more freely and easily in your everyday life.

Increased Strength:

Yoga isn’t just about stretching! Many yoga poses also help to build strength. Holding poses for extended periods of time can help to tone and strengthen your muscles.

Better Balance:

Yoga can also help to improve your balance. This is because many yoga poses require you to stand on one leg or balance on your hands and forearms. Improved balance can help to prevent falls and injuries.

Stress Reduction:

Yoga is a great way to de-stress and relax. The combination of physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation can help to calm your mind and body.

Improved Mood:

Yoga has been shown to improve mood and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. This is likely due to the stress-reducing effects of yoga, as well as the fact that yoga can help to improve sleep quality.

Pain Relief:

Yoga can help to relieve pain from a variety of conditions, including back pain, arthritis, and headaches. This is likely due to the fact that yoga can help to improve flexibility, strength, and circulation.

Improved Sleep:

Yoga can help you to fall asleep faster and sleep more soundly. This is because yoga can help to reduce stress and anxiety, both of which can interfere with sleep.

Boosted Immunity:

Some research suggests that yoga may help to boost the immune system. This is likely due to the fact that yoga can help to reduce stress, which can weaken the immune system.

Conclusion

With this list of diverse yoga studios in Singapore, you’re well on your way to finding the perfect practice space. Remember, yoga isn’t about achieving perfect poses. The most important factor is to find a studio environment that feels welcoming and supportive. Don’t be afraid to try out a few introductory classes to see which styles and instructors resonate most with you. Take the time to visit these studios, try out different classes, and find the one that resonates with you. Namaste, and happy practicing!
